At Rhino Enterprises, each project begins with a comprehensive assessment program that clarifies your goals and objectives. The assessment addresses functional and esthetic issues, along with time and budget considerations. As the project progresses, we continually evaluate how we’re doing to ensure we reach the goals skillfully and effectively. Each project has an on-site superintendent and the direction and support of a project manager.

We rely exclusively on the AIA #107 contract, the gold standard of the industry designed to provide the client with the maximum protection. It addresses final contract price, rate for change orders, start dates, completion dates and payment requirements. It details all contractual aspects of the construction process

The process of designing and building a space consists of two phases.

Within these phases---1) Design and 2) Construction---we address:

site selection/site analysis
flow and function
design selection
follow-up throughout the first year after project completion

During the Design phase, we:

• meet with the client to ascertain the project’s requirements and scope and budget constraints;
• develop project requirements and site analysis;
• direct provision of architectural services;
• review the plans with the client and assist the owner with obtaining necessary approvals and permits;
• prepare building cost report;
• assist client with all finish selections---i.e. cabinetry laminates, flooring and wall treatments
• establish project schedules and start project construction.

During the Construction phase, we:

• lay out walls prior to construction so the client can get a feel for the space and have an opportunity to make any changes;
• administer the construction contract;
• advise and consult with the owner on a weekly basis about the progress of the project;
• review all changes initiated by the client;
• monitor the actual construction for compliance with contract documents;
• assure that the highest level of quality is maintained;
• issue a Certificate of Substantial Completion and a Certificate of Occupancy at the end of the project;
• provide weekly schedule updates;
• create a closeout package regarding warranties and recommended maintenance.
